Who would have thought that after the poor reception that the rebooted Ghostbusters movie got a few years ago that we would get another Ghostbusters movie, but it turns out we are and it's being directed by the son of the director of the original movies!
Jason Reitman, son of Ivan Reitman, announced on Twitter earlier this week that he was being handed the keys to the infamous Ghostbusters car and that it would follow up after Ghostbusters II, but in a modern world!
What we didn't know was that this film has been in the works for a while that they decided to release a teaser trailer for the film and announced it's release date as well!
You can check out the teaser trailer below, but the main takeaway is that we're getting a NEW Ghostbusters movie in 2020 and that the original cast will return!
Fingers crossed we find out soon if Rick Moranis is coming back because he definitely needs to if they get the original cast!
