Calling all Pokémon trainers and fans to get ready to head to a movie theater near you because we just got the first trailer for the Detective Pikachu movie starring Ryan Reynolds!
Reynolds will be the voice of Detective Pikachu in the film and will be teaming up with Justice Smith as they go on their own unique Pokémon adventure in the film, but the trailer showed off a TON of Pokémon.
It's the first live-action adaptation of Pokémon and while some of the Pokémon look a little weird, looking at you Jigglypuff, we can't wait to see it opening day. Plus, if it's anything like the Mr. Mime scene in the trailer below then it will definitely appeal to us adults.

As of right now Pikachu looks great and we can't wait to get a stuffed animal version of him, but some of the other Pokémon might need a little work up until the movie comes out on May 10, 2019!
