Warner Bros. just released the final trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and they just confirmed one of the oldest theories for Harry Potter fans!
Check out the trailer below, but the BIG thing everyone is talking about is the fact that Voldemort's snake/Horcrux, Nagini, apparently was a human at one point in time!
Yep you read and saw that right because we now have a potential backstory on how Voldemort got his pet snake Nagini!
According to J.K. Rowling Nagini is a "maledictus," which is a woman who carries a blood curse from birth than eventually forever transforms her into animal form.
This explains why Nagini can sort of talk to Voldemort in the main series!
If Warner Bros. was trying to people in seats for the sequel then I think they just did that because now the Fantastic Beasts series connects even further to the main movies!
We can't wait to see Nagini potentially get stuck in snake form on November 16!!
