We just found what will be the hottest item this holiday season because Sony has announced that they are releasing the PlayStation Classic on December 3!
Coming pre-loaded with 20 classic games, including Final Fantasy VII, Tekken 3, Wild Arms, Jumping Flash, and Ridge Racer Type 4, the classic system will sell for $99.99 and is approximately 45% smaller than the original PlayStation.
Essentially PlayStation is copying what Nintendo has done the past two holiday seasons and releasing their own classic console with updated plugs for your entertainment center. Check out the announcement video below.
When the console releases it will mark the system's 24th anniversary and included in the box will be the system with two original controllers, as well as an HDMI cord and mini-USB power cord.
The controllers will also be USB so you could potentially use them on your current console if you want to go retro for a day!
