Get ready to see Superman in a lot more shows and movies because Henry Cavill has been cast to play Geralt in Netflix's adaptation of The Witcher!!
Lauren Schmidt Hissrich will be the showrunner on the show's first season. She has previously helped created Netflix's Daredevil and Iron Fist series. This will be Cavill's first TV role since his time on The Tudors from 2007-2010.
While there still is no date on when the show will start production it's great to know that a notable name will be attached to the series. Plus, social media has already shown what Henry Cavill will look like as the character and he looks amazing!
