It looks like Disney won't be reversing their decision on firing Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn. After meeting with Gunn in a private meeting Disney decided not to reinstate Gunn.
James Gunn met with Disney studio chairman Alan Horn last night and while the meeting was civil the ultimate decision was that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will continue without Gunn as the director.
According to Vulture, Kevin Feige, Marvel Studios' President, could not attend the meeting but sided with Disney for the final decision despite the entire cast of the film trying to get Gunn back.
