If you were worried about Game of Thrones coming to an end, don't worry because the hit HBO show's showrunners, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, are going to a galaxy far, far away!
Sorry I had to make that joke, it's the Star Wars in me, but Game of Thrones' showrunners were just announced to write and produce a new trilogy set in the Star Wars galaxy after the end of Game of Thrones!
The new films will be separate from the Skywalker saga (which you know as the main "episodes") and the recently-announced trilogy being developed by Rian Johnson, who wrote and directed Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
No other details, including plot or release dates, have been announced for this new series of films, but here is how most people on the Internet reacted to the news on Twitter:
