In 2014, Ms. Bleken was referred and hired as CEO and a member of the Board of Directors for Buchanan and Edwards (BE), a firm awarded the Helios Apollo award for culture, nominated for the GovCon Awards $75–300M category, and was named one of Washington Post’s “Best Places to Work” for two consecutive years.

Ms. Bleken served in the U.S. Army as an Air Assault qualified supply logistician and was deployed to Haiti in Operational Uphold Democracy.
