Sending our love to Clea Shearer ❤️

The co-founder of everyone's favorite organization businesses turned Netflix hit, The Home Edit, has revealed in an emotional Instagram post that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is immediately proceeding with a double mastectomy.

"I have breast cancer. It’s a hard thing to say, but it’s easier than keeping it to myself. I’m having a double mastectomy tomorrow (prayers are welcome!), and I wanted to say a few words before I do," the post starts off.

Shearer shared that she discovered a lump back in February and it took several months and asks with doctors to proceed with appointments that would lead to her diagnosis.

"I found a lump myself the last week of February. I had been trying to make an appt with my OB for several months, and even when I told them I found a lump, they couldn’t accommodate me. I had to request a mammogram from my general doctor, which led to an ultrasound, and then an emergency triple biopsy. I have two tumors, 1 cm each, that are aggressive and fast moving - but I caught it early. Had I not taken this upon myself, I would be in a completely different situation right now."

She also shares in the caption that she was under the age of 40 when her tumors were developed and that she has no history of breast cancer in her family.

We're keeping you in our thoughts and wishing you a speedy recovery, Clea!

Season 2 of The Home Edit debuted on Netflix last Friday, April 1.
