Jack Black took to social media this week to mourn the loss of Kevin Clark, one of the child actors from his hit movie "School of Rock."

According to ETalk, Clark (32) died tragically as he was hit by a car while riding his bike in Chicago. Clark stared along Black as drummer Freddy “Spaz” Jones.

"Devastating news. Kevin is gone. Way too soon. Beautiful soul. So many great memories. Heartbroken. Sending love to his family and the whole School of Rock community," Black shared in memoriam on his Instagram page with two photos of himself with Clark.

He was not the only one remembering the actor whose life was cut short. Miranda Cosgrove, who played Summer Hathaway in the 2003 movie, also shared her feelings online.

"Stunned and saddened by this news today. The world lost an amazing soul. I’ll always remember your spirit and how kind you were to me. I’ll never forget all the memories. You’ll always be missed Kevin."
