Justin Bieber Drops 'Holy' Collaboration with Chance The Rapper

After teasing fans all week, Justin Bieber's new song "Holy" featuring Chance The Rapper has officially arrived, along with its short film music video.

Directed by Colin Tilley, the "Holy" visual stars Justin, Chance The Rapper, Star's Ryan Destiny and Wilmer Valderrama. In the short film, Justin and Ryan are a couple trying to make it through a difficult time in the world (much like what the world has experienced throughout the COVID-19 pandemic) as they struggle to make ends meet. Bieber's character works at a plant that gets shut down due to the "current and ongoing global situation" while Ryan's character works at a nursing home.

The pair end up getting evicted from the motel they are living at and begin walking along a road at night until Valderrama's character — a military officer — picks them up and offers them food and shelter.

Chance The Rapper appears in the middle of the video to rap his verse.

Bieber first teased "Holy" when he sent out a mysterious tweet a week ago that simply said "ONE WEEK." Simultaneously, a website launched —jbsoon.com — featuring a sky background with a few clouds, and the ability to pre-save music. Bieber then shared the cover art and details on the website a few days later. Scooter Braun also retweeted Justin's "ONE WEEK" tweet, and responded with the eyes emoji and "#newerabegins???"

"Holy" follows Justin's most recent album Changes, which he released at the very beginning of the year. The star is set to embark on his rescheduled "Justin Bieber World Tour" next year in June 2021. The trek stops in arenas in cities including New York City, Boston, Atlanta, Chicago and more, and $1 from each ticket purchased will be donated to the Bieber Foundation, which supports mental health wellness.
