Red Lobster's Rare Blue Lobster Has Been Donated To A Zoo

This rare blue lobster is getting a new lease on life after a Red Lobster employee found it and decided not to turn it into dinner!

An employee at a Red Lobster in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio discovered the lobster in a delivery and realized how uncommon the creature is so instead of cooking it, the employee convinced his co-workers to keep him in the tank and make it the store's mascot.

They now have donated the blue lobster to the Akron Zoo after they learned that only 1 in every 2,000,000 lobsters are blue and it’s thanks to genetics.

Here's hoping we have more blue lobsters in the near future if they can find the lobster a girlfriend!
