According to FOX5 DC, a woman and her friend went to a Florida amusement park with some friends, but skipped a slingshot ride because of a 'bad feeling.' Well, right before the ride shot off, the cable that was supposed to 'slingshot' the riders into the air, completely snapped in HALF. There's really not much more to the story except for the fact that these two riders literally got LUCKY. This was at Cobra AdventurePark in Panama City Beach.
Not to scare you, just be careful about what you ride because man. This was some sort of freak accident that no one can account for. Thank God it happened while they were on the ground.
