In national, regrettable news, a grandfather dropped his 19 month old granddaughter to her death, 11 stories down on a concrete dock, aboard a cruise ship in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Sunday.
According to Elmer Roman of the Puerto Rican Department of Public Security, "One of the grandfathers, whom it would appear was playing with the little girl, lifted her out of the open window and lost his grip."
The child was on a cruise with her parents, two siblings, and both sets of grandparents, according to TooFab. It's believed to be a tragic accident, but obviously there's an investigation, with a request for security footage from the ship.
