"Jeopardy James" Donates Part of Winnings in Alex Trebek's Name

Now THIS is some pretty cool news for your Thursday.

"Jeopardy!" champion James Holzhauer made headlines when he became the second-winningest contestant in the show's history in record time, winning just a hair less than Ken Jennings.

But James isn't just taking the money and spending it. He became the heart of America for the month and a half he was on "Jeopardy!" and of course, he's donating part of his earnings.

According to FOX5 DC, Ann Zediker, the organizer of next month's Naperville Pancreatic Cancer Research Walk, told the Tribune she reached out to Holzhauer and asked if she would be interested in attending the walk. He ultimately couldn't but ended up making a donation of $1,109.14 in honor of Alex Trebek and other pancreatic cancer survivors.
