The Secret Service has closed down Pennsylvania Avenue, 15th to 17th streets, due to a potential gas leak, inside of a 10-story building.
Nothing really on top of that the streets are closed to contain the apparent gas leak, according to WJLA. The building involved is a 10-story structure currently under construction. D.C. Fire and EMS evacuated all buildings on the even side of the block.
Officials say the leak is now under control by Washington Gas. D.C. Fire and EMS are currently ventilating impacted buildings.
