Paralyzed Man Walks 17.2 Miles in LA Marathon

This is incredible.

Adam Gorlitsky is paralyzed from the waist down - and this past weekend at the LA Marathon, he walked 17.2 miles!

WOW!

TMZ reported that he walked with help from a $95,000 ReWalk Exoskeleton. He walked for 19 hours straight. He started Friday night at Dodger Stadium at midnight and made it to mile marker 11 at Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood by 7pm. Once he returned on Sunday at 7am, he walked the remaining 6.2 miles and ended the race around 4pm.

Although he didn't walk the entire 26.2 mile course, he's determined to keep trying so he can become the first paralyzed person in history to complete a full marathon on US soil, TMZ reports.
