Kane is host of the nationally syndicated Club Kane, a Sunday night music radio program which launched in March 2010 with Premiere Networks and airs nationwide on nearly 100 Top 40 stations from 7 p.m. to midnight local time. Each week, Kane plays chart-topping songs, debuts new music and takes requests as he welcomes listeners to his on-air party. Broadcasting live from Washington, D.C., he also discusses pop culture, music and entertainment, and features candid conversations with music artists and celebrities.
Kane is also host of The Kane Show, the top-rated morning radio program which airs from 6 - 10 a.m. ET on his flagship station, HOT 99.5/WIHT in Washington, D.C. and is syndicated each morning on stations around the US and the iHeartRadio app via The Kane Show channel.
Growing up in Danbury, Conn., Kane’s love for radio began in high school when he interned for WKCI-FM/KC101 in New Haven. Upon graduation, Kane was accepted to Syracuse University's School of Visual and Performing Arts, where he pursued a career in advertising and design. During that time, he volunteered at the university’s radio station Z89, and hosted the most-listened-to evening show in Central New York on WWHT/Hot 107.9.
Kane moved to Tampa, Fla., in 1998 to host the evening show on WFLZ/93.3 FLZ. Within the first year, The Extreme Show with Kane spread to 17 cities nationwide, five nights a week. In March 2003, Kane was named host of the legendary Open House Party, a live, Sunday night program that was nationally syndicated in more than 150 markets. He later returned to 93.3 FLZ where he served as program director and afternoon host. In October 2006, Kane joined Hot 99.5 in Washington, D.C., as host of The Kane Show.
The Kane Show features Kane, along with sidekicks Intern John and producers Erick and Scott. The team feeds off each other, providing a high-energy “jolt” to the morning commute. The Kane Show starts listeners’ days off right with music, the buzz on the hottest topics, Hollywood dirt, contests, call-in interaction with listeners, plus interviews with today’s biggest celebrities in both music and pop culture.
Kane received the 2009 FMQB “Morning Show of the Year” Award in the CHR category, and previously won a Radio Music Award for “CHR Air Personality of the Year” and A.I.R. Awards for “Best Evening Drive Show” and “Best New Talent.” Throughout his career, Kane has spoken to every major artist from Usher to Britney Spears, and 50 Cent to Mariah Carey. He also hosted his own television show.
Kane speaks regularly to elementary and middle schools about the importance of education and volunteers his time to various events throughout Washington, D.C. He's an accomplished artist and aviation enthusiast, and is finishing work on his pilot’s license. He’s a proud father of two daughters Sam and Sophie, who always keep him on his toes. He resides in Maryland where he keep up with hobbies that range from all things kid oriented, aviation, wine drinking and home improvement, to following the latest tech trends, and of course, Grand Marnier.
While not actually an intern, “Intern” John has become a fan favorite on The Kane Show. His catchphrase, “My Man!” has become the show’s trademark, with listeners often saying it when they call in to the show. He’s your typical millennial, trying to find his way in the world. John always says what’s on his mind, and says what you’re thinking but are too afraid to say. Listeners also love John because he can put a smile on anyone’s face. While he always says what’s on his mind, Kane Show listeners also know his girlfriend of 3 years, Laura, runs the relationship. Women also love his “John’s Justice” segment, where he helps to bust guys who use corny pickup lines on women. While he’s known as the funny guy on the show, John is also known for having a heart of gold. Children and animals love him and this past year he launched a stand-up comedy show to benefit the military charity Fisher House Foundation. He’s also a first time homeowner and while not the parent of a human, John lives in the ultimate bachelor pad with his chihuahua, Chuy, who he calls his son.
John also does a weekly podcast called “The Thought Shower” as well as a video interview series where he interviews celebrities in a shower.

Erick is the Executive Producer for the Kane Show and was born and raised in Bethesda, MD. He is all about the family, because when he’s not working his butt off keeping things running smooth behind the scenes you’ll find him at Sunday dinners with his mother, father and three siblings. Erick’s interests and hobbies are – nightlife, sports, (especially NFL, college basketball, and NBA). He’s also an avid movie and TV watcher, just don't him started on his collection of comic book character t-shirts! Though he may seem like the authority on the show always keeping the three of them line, you can always get him to relax with a good vodka sprite.
