James Arthur Talks About How Isolation Of Artists Can Lead to Depression

James Arthur, who is currently on tour with One Republic, stopped by HOT 995 and WASH-FM to perform his hit "Say You Won't Let Go" and his new single "Can I Be Him".

After his performance, Toby Knapp asked him what he would say to Chester Bennington or Chris Cornell if he had the chance to talk to them again. James Arthur brought up the fact that his guitar tech was George Michael's guitar tech back in the day. He found out that George Michael was always wondering why his crew wouldn't come up and talk to him.

"People feel like they can't approach you, and that's why [artists] deal with isolation," says James. "Always say what's in your head even if you sound like a babbling idiot like I do."
