While traveling to be Grand Marshall in a Mardi Gras parade, Chuck Wicks was in a vehicle that hydroplaned and flipped multiple times until coming to rest in a ditch full of water.
Wicks was placed on a backboard after complaining of neck and back pain. Emergency room technicians determined the singer fractured his skull and a cervical vertebrae. According to a Facebook post by Wicks, he'll be in a neck brace for several months while recovering.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
