After record high temperatures on Wednesday, the National Weather Service is forecasting a potentially messy Thursday morning, with snow totals approaching 4 inches in spots.
Some locations to our west, in the mountains, could see 8 or more inches.
Since the ground has been heated up from an unseasonable burst of warmth, it's going to be hard for the snow to accumulate on paved surfaces. Expect a slushy cover at best, with grassy surfaces under snow cover.
