Thousands of people came together at the nation's capital for the Women's March on Washington. While the March in Washington is expected to draw crowds well into the hundreds of thousands, many "Sister Marches" are taking place across the US. New York City, Chicago, Atlanta, and San Francisco are among the 200 or so planned protests and partners across all 50 states.
Over 65,000 people, including members of Broadway are expected to partake in the New York City March.
Around 150,000 people gathered in Chicago, making it the second largest Women's March after Washington, DC:
Women's Marches also extended around the globe in places like Sydney, Bangkok, London, Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris and Barcelona.
