A Make-A-Wish Kid Got Signed for One Day by the San Jose Sharks . . . And Started Crying When the Crowd Gave Him a Standing Ovation [Video]

This week, the San Jose Sharks signed a 17-year-old named Sam Tageson to a one-day contract.  Sam has a serious heart condition, and it was a Make-a-Wish thing.  But check out how much it meant to him.

In addition to practicing with the team and hanging out with players, Sam got to SUIT UP, and became the first non-player in franchise history to actually skate out of the tunnel with the team at the beginning of a game.

Then he stayed on the ice for the National Anthem.  And when he finally skated off, he cried . . . because the crowd gave him a STANDING OVATION.
