Spiders are horrible creatures. Now, they're invading your car.
The Mazda 6, in particular, has already been recalled once...in 2009...for spiders infiltrating the fuel system, wreaking havoc and scaring the bejesus out of anyone that likes to drive.
The problem was supposed to have been solved...but spiders, being the terrifying 8-legged nightmares that they are...are back, with a vengeance. This time, Mazda is recalling 42,000 Mazda 6's that have been specifically manufactured in Flat Rock, MI...for the SAME REASON: spiders are clogging the fuel systems and causing the mechanism to crack.
SPIDERS ARE CRACKING OUR CARS!
This is simply the worst thing I've ever heard. I'm so *SO* happy that I drive an SUV that wasn't made in Flat Rock, MI.
So, if you have a Mazda 6 made between 2010-2012 and it has the 2.5 liter engine...you need to get that ish checked out by your dealer IMMEDIATELY.
The spiders aren't necessarily dangerous to humans, but um... they're hella scary and I'd rather not read about you crashing your car because a spider crawled out and tried to help you drive.
