Hurricane Irma kills 9 in Caribbean islands as Florida awaits storm

Hurricane Irma is going to be the most powerful storm in history with it being a category 5 with 185 miles per hour winds. 

Puerto Rico is currently feel ing the wrath of the storm with its winds and storm surges ripping off roofs, smashing windows, and tearing down palm trees. Irma is currently responsible for 9 deaths in the Caribbean. 

Irma is expected to hit Florida by ate Saturday afternoon approaching just south of Miami as a category 4. Governor Rick Scott is calling the storm devastating in its current path and is issuing and urgent warning that "If you are told to evacuate, get out quickly." Evactualtions in Florida are expected to be the largest n US history.

Meanwhile North Carolina is expected to be hit by the storm ad is currently under a state of emergency that will go int effect this morning.

Prayers going out to all of our Florida family, those in Puerto Rico, and everyone effected by these terrible storms.

200 Gap and Banana Republic stores closing

Looks like Gap and Banana Republic are falling the way of many other brick and mortar stores.

They have announced that they are closing 200 the 2,000 stores across the country due to underperformance. They are now going to focus on Old Navy and are planning to open 270 new locations in the next three years.

A Mom in Missouri is Donating Breast Milk to Help Families in Houston

THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!!

Danielle Palmer has been faced with an overabundance of breast milk due to the fact that .her son Truett was born with a congenital heart defect that made him unable to breast feed. She has three months worth of breast milk in her freezer so she's decided to donate it to the victims f Hurrican Harvey. 

"I can’t imagine being in a situation where you’re losing everything and just the fear of all of that," Palmer told News 4 St. Louis in a recent Skype interview "All I could do was sit and pray for the moms and dads and kids. Beauty can come from this. It won’t be bad forever."

1.6 Million Dressers Sold at Walmart Recalled for Tip-Over Risks

Check your dressers! 

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commision has announced a recall of approximately 1.6 million dressers sold at Walmart due to concerns that they can tip over and fall on children.

The recall includes Ameriwood Mainstay's four-drawer dressers, which were sold between April 2009 and May 2016. The dressers were available in six colors: alder, black forest, white, weathered oak, walnut and ruby red, and retailed for about $60.
