It's confirmed...Hocus Pocus 2 is really happening and Winnie (aka Bette Midler) confirmed the news herself that we'll have the movie next year on her Twitter account!
"Sistaaaahs! It's been 300 years... But we’re BACK! #HocusPocus2 arrives Fall 2022 on @DisneyPlus"
Disney+'s official Twitter account supported the breaking news by confirming that our original trio of Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy "will reprise their roles as the delightfully wicked Sanderson Sisters."
Just a few days ago, Thora Birch (who played Dani in the original movie) teased her involvement with the sequel by tweeting out that 2022 would be "Mah-velous."
While we don't know the exact date of when to expect Hocus Pocus 2, we assume it would be out in time for Halloween. By the time the movie premieres, it will have been 29 years since the original debuted.
