After 25 years, "Judge Judy" is ending.
Judge Judith Sheindlin announced on Monday's episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that it was time. She told Ellen: "Next year will be our 25th season, silver anniversary, and CBS, I think, sort of felt they wanted to optimally utilize the repeats of my program because now they have 25 years of re-runs. So what they decided to do was sell a couple of years' worth of reruns," E! Online reported. She added, "I'm not tired...so 'Judy Justice' will be coming out a year later."
So even though the iconic courtroom won't be on CBS anymore after 2021, she's getting a new show - so we're not losing her!
