DeMario Jackson Cries Over 'Bachelor In Paradise' Scandal In New Interview

DeMario Jackson’s interview with Chris Harrison about the Corinne Olympios scandal airs on Tuesday’s “Bachelor in Paradise.” Hours before, “GMA” broadcast a preview of the sit-down. Watch the video below.

As Gossip Cop has reported, production on “Bachelor in Paradise” was abruptly shut down in June for an investigation into alleged “misconduct.” Two producers on “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” spinoff claimed there was a sexual encounter in which one of the parties was too drunk to consent. The people involved were later identified as Jackson and Olympios. The former maintained he did nothing wrong, while the latter claimed she had no memory of the incident. It was ultimately determined, based on footage of their interaction, that no wrongdoing took place.

Production on the reality show resumed, although Jackson and Olympios did not return as contestants. Instead, both sat down with Harrison for individual, one-on-one interviews about the ordeal. While the chats were filmed on the same day in front of a studio audience, the pair did not cross paths and have not spoken since the situation began more than two months ago. Now Jackson’s conversation with Harrison will be featured during tonight’s episode of “Bachelor in Paradise,” while Olympios’ will be showcased during next week’s edition.

In the first-look footage shown on “Good Morning America,” Jackson is seen crying. “It was hard,” he says with tears in his eyes. At other points, he’s telling Harrison what transpired from his point of view. “We got turnt up,” the realty star admits. “We’re at the bar, we’re hanging out, one thing leads to another and we’re making out… And by the end of day one, you’re like, ‘I may be able to find my wife here.'”

“I never once thought that I would be here, today, speaking to you guys, in the middle of a crazy scandal. Never once,” Jackson says. Check out the video below, and come back to Gossip Cop tonight for a full recap.
