As part of a planned strike for "Day Without Immigrants", several DC restaurants will be closed today to allow their employees to protest President Trump's immigration policies.
Restaurants participating include:

- Denson Liquor Bar
- Ella's Pizza
- Hank's Cocktail Bar
- Hank's Oyster Bar
- Hank's Pasta Bar
- Jaleo
- Oyamel Cocina Mexicana (José Andrés)
- Pizzeria Paradiso
- Rappahannock Oyster Bar
- Sotto
- TaKorean (all locations)
- Zaytinya (José Andrés)
- Boundary Stone (open, but serving limited menu)
- Brookland Pint (bar open, no kitchen)
- Meridian Pint (bar open, no kitchen)
- Smoke & Barrel (bar open, no kitchen)
- VIDA Fitness (all locations operating on limited schedule)
