WMATA is planning track work on the Metrorail system Saturday and Sunday, February 4 and 5, 2017 that will result in the closure of six stations:
- Farragut West
- McPherson Square
- Federal Triangle
- Smithsonian
- Federal Center SW
- Capitol South
Free shuttle busses will replace all trains between Foggy Bottom and Eastern Market.
Also, all lower-level platforms at Metro Center and L'Enfant Plaza will be closed. Metro Center will be open for Red Line service only.
